2MW is a Metis-owned agency specializing in hands-on workshops aimed at increasing awareness of Indigenous culture. Owner Lorelei Lyons, who is of Chippewa/Metis descent on her paternal side and Irish/Scottish on her maternal side, hails from the Swan River Valley in Manitoba. With a background in education and Indigenous knowledge, Lorelei serves as a knowledge carrier for the North Fraser Metis Association, an Elder for Capilano University and the Women and Children’s Hospital, and an Indigenous education coordinator for the AWARE Society. She recently retired from a 30-year tenure in the Indigenous education department of the Burnaby School District.

Lorelei's workshops focus on promoting mindfulness, self-care, team-building, and the importance of positive thinking for overall well-being. Grounded in the teachings of the medicine wheel, her sessions emphasize the connection to mother earth, community, and our inner light.

We offer engaging culturally based workshop to support balance, self-care, mindfulness and community building.
We introduce participants to the medicine wheel and how it can help promote balance in our lives . We work on a wheel of their own while learning about ourselves. We also use the medicine wheel to help guild your journey during your life coach sessions.
During this lesson we teach about the importance of positive thoughts and a good nights sleep.
we are experienced cultural facilitators who are passionate about sharing our knowledge with others. We will be there to guide you every step of the way and answer any questions you have.

In this workshop we teach participants how to finger weave using the Metis technique and the importance of intertwining culture with modern day.
Participants make their own hand drum and stick. This is a full day session with lots of stories, sharing and a meal included!
Participants can choose from:
